Job Summary

Best Western PLUS Sonora Oaks Hotel and Conference Center is looking for additional team members to join our Housekeeping Department. Qualified candidates are invited to submit resumes to this posting or visit the hotel property to complete an application at the front desk.

• Must be able to lift 20 pounds on a consistent basis
• Flexible schedule and reliable
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Must be a fast pace worker and work well with others
• Multi-tasking skills
• Responsibilities Include:
• Assist with stripping of dirty linen from the guest rooms as needed
• Assisting Room Attendants as needed.
• Sort all linens and treat stains
• Sort linens for washer
• Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized in designated places
• Load all laundry into washer and add specified cleaning agents
• Sort and fold linens
• Maintaining all laundry equipment and inform facilities manager as to any maintenance needs
• Perform additional laundry services when necessary
• Receiving deliveries and maintaining inventory in a clean and orderly fashion to enhance efficiency and ease of cleaning rooms

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
